If you are experiencing unhealthy conflict with someone, or perhaps you are witnessing unhealthy conflict in or outside of the workplace, hiring a Certified Mediator may be a good option. Unhealthy conflict can be very stressful to those involved, and unfortunately can have a negative ripple affect on innocent bystanders.
While avoiding unhealthy conflict may seem easier, it is in fact making the issue worse. Unhealthy conflict should be faced head-on and this is where a Certified Mediator can assist. A Certified Mediator is trained in the art of conflict resolution, and understands the right questions to ask to identify the root cause of the issue. The Certified Mediator will intervene and will serve as a non-biased and neutral facilitator.
The Certified Mediator's commitment is to assist the individuals in negotiating a jointly acceptable resolution of issues in conflict.
If you are ready to resolve an unhealthy conflict, please reach out for more information on the mediation process.
Are you seeking additional support?
HR/OD Consulting includes a broad range of services, some of which are compliance based, e.g. updating a policy handbook, or you may need an unbiased investigator or mediator to handle an employee dispute.
Need assistance with something of a larger scale?
Perhaps you need assistance with an organizational development intervention that will result in change. Hiring a skilled OD Practitioner to handle the change management process is important as it includes multiple steps and consideration of complex sensitivities.
